Metro 190 is a prime, speculatively built, urban logistics facility with a 15m clear height warehouse, high spec offices, a secure 50m yard, separately accessed car parking and 2.5MVA of power.

It was leased on completion in 2021 to The Fragrance Shop, the UK’s largest independent fragrance retailer for their new headquarters and fulfilment centre. Opening in Summer 2022, this state of the art facility is now home to hundreds of employees involved across all areas of the business.

Delivery of Metro 190 by PLP on behalf of Legal & General’s Industrial Property Investment Fund (IPIF) was the culmination of a major redevelopment project. It required the demolition of dilapidated factory buildings dating from the early 20th Century which included the removal and safe disposal of large amounts of asbestos and the grubbing up of numerous underground obstructions and basements. The result is a ‘best in class’ new logistics facility with exceptional sustainability credentials including BREEAM Excellent and EPC A.
