PLP appoints raft of senior hires to bolster business
PLP has announced a series of senior appointments to the business as it prepares for further expansion.
The specialist logistics and industrial property platform has hired Andrew Penny as Independent Chairman, James Deane to Finance Director, and Jonathan Maher as a Development Director.
Andrew Penny has been appointed as Independent Chairman. Andrew is a senior figure in the real estate industry, with previous leadership roles in global investment banking, capital markets and equity research. Andrew has served as senior advisor to the real estate corporate finance teams of Royal Bank of Canada, EY and Canaccord Genuity. Prior to this, he spent 13 years at JPMorgan, where he was a Managing Director, Global Co-Head of Real Estate Investment Banking, and an approved person by the Financial Conduct Authority.
James Deane joins the management team of PLP from Chancerygate to take on the role of Finance Director. James has a wealth of experience in the industry having spent 15 years in the same role at Chancerygate, a logistics and industrial platform specialising in smaller unit estates. Prior to this James held positions at Quintain and Price Waterhouse Coopers.
Jonathan Maher will be joining PLP as a Development Director in January. Jonathan is a career logistics real estate specialist having spent the last 9 years as a Development Director and shareholder at one of the UKs most respected trader developers, Bericote, and prior to that as a partner at Cushman & Wakefield.
