THE DEVELOPMENT

PLP Smithywood, a prime 346,300 sq ft speculative logistics building completed in 2020, was one of the first developments of this size and nature in the UK to be constructed in accordance with the UKGBC’s Net Zero Buildings Framework.

Shortly after completion it was leased to Advanced Supply Chain Group, a third party logistics and reverse logistics provider predominantly operating in the UK retail sector including for ASOS, based in nearby Barnsley.
