PLP secures JELD-WEN lease at Bessemer Park, Sheffield – bringing landmark development to full occupancy

PLP is pleased to announce that global manufacturer JELD-WEN UK has signed a lease for Unit 3A, a new 294,000 sq ft state-of-the-art industrial and logistics facility at PLP Bessemer Park, Sheffield. This final letting brings the development to 100% occupancy, completing one of PLP’s most successful brownfield regeneration-led logistics projects to date.

JELD-WEN UK is part of the global JELD-WEN group, established over 60 years ago and the world’s leading door manufacturer, operating in 19 countries. The new facility will allow the company to obtain operational efficiencies in a modern, sustainable base, supporting its continued growth in the UK.

This lease marks the final chapter in a series of successful lettings at Bessemer Park, all secured with blue-chip occupiers and with a strong emphasis on the manufacturing and advanced engineering sectors. The tenant line-up includes occupiers such as ITM Power and Forgefix—each a market leader in their field. This concentration of high-quality industrial tenants is a testament to the strength of Sheffield as a strategic manufacturing hub, offering a skilled workforce, excellent transport connectivity, and a strong industrial heritage that continues to attract world-class occupiers.

Built to best-in-class specification, Bessemer Park was developed in accordance with the UK Green Building Council’s Carbon Net Zero standard, significantly reducing emissions through construction and enabling net zero operational performance across the estate.
