Three new leases for Asfordby Business Park

Harworth Estates, the UK property regeneration company that forms part of the PLP strategic alliance, has completed three new leases at Asfordby Business Park in Leicestershire, reflecting increasing demand for good quality business space across the north of England and the Midlands.

Regional car dealership, Sandicliffe, has renewed its lease on Unit H (5,500 sq ft) and Plot 1 and Plot 5 (4.9 acres) at the park for a further five years, with the site being used for vehicle storage prior to being distributed for sale. Steel Fabricator, TT Services, has also renewed its lease on Unit C2a (3,233 sq ft) for a further five years.

In addition, CS Contracting Ltd, a local business specialising in industrial paint spraying, has signed a new lease for Unit C5b (686 sq ft) on a three-year term. All of the completed deals were negotiated by appointed agent, Lambert Smith Hampton.

Located close to Melton Mowbray, Asfordby Business Park has an on-site rail connection as well being connected to the M1 motorway via the A46 trunk road. The site extends to 127 acres, ensuring it has proved popular with distribution companies. Existing companies on site at Asfordby Business Park include St John’s Ambulance Service, S&J European Haulage, industrial machinery manufacturer Benninghoven, and Caldic (UK), an international distributor of chemicals.

Liz Askam, Property Manager at Harworth Estates, said: “These three new leases at Asfordby reflect the latent demand for units and land at the park among both local and regional businesses.  As a result, we only have one industrial unit of 1,837 sq. ft remaining available to let.”
